Post Secondary Welding Instructor
National Park College is seeking a full-time instructor for the post-secondary Welding Program. This is a full time, nine month position, beginning in August, 2014. Duties include, but are not limited to, instruction of adult students, recruiting activities, workforce training, assistance with community development projects, evaluation and development of curriculum, committee work, and monitoring of current industry practices.
Qualified individuals will have a minimum three years of experience in the Welding field. Teaching experience is also preferred. Individuals should be certified in: GMAW (MIG), TIG, Stick, Flux Core, Pipe and/or Structural. Experience in production welding is an asset. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred in Welding or a related technical field.
