Bachelor of Applied Science Program Overview

The BAS is a bachelor's program providing a pathway to a four-year degree for students who have completed a technical career focus and have an associate of applied science degree or associate of applied technology degree. The bachelor's degree is designed to grow professional management skills of the learner and meet the demand for leadership of highly technical professionals in the workplace. The fundamental components of the BAS program emphasize workplace safety, ethics, diversity, supervision, total quality management, process improvement, and financial analysis. Professional studies courses include Policies and Ethics, Safety, Diversity, Consensus Building, Decision Making and Quality Management.
