NPCC English as a Second Language(ESL) Program

ESL Program

Classes in English as a Second Language are designed for persons over the age of 18 whose native language is not English.  The ESL classes emphasize survival English in the American society, particularly in the workplace.  Computer-assisted instruction is also available for additional practice and review.  All staff are certified and experienced teachers.

Classes are available Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with open entry/open exit.  There is no charge for classes.

Our multicultural classes include students from countries all over the world.  Informal class instruction allows students to focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing in English in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.  Students have the opportunity to make new friends while studying English.
