NPCC Opportunity Day

October, 2012

Opportunity Day Event

Opportunity Day will be a chance for business and industry to interview prospective volunteers. Persons interested in volunteer opportunities, including present students and alumni from NPCC, other educational institutions, and members of our community will be invited to attend.

Display space is available at no cost. Exhibitors are welcome to bring promotional items to encourage participant visits. A free lunch will be provided to everyone at the event, including exhibitors.

National Park Community College Career Services and Service Learning supports Opportunity Day every year in the Fall.

It is through these service-learning opportunities for our college students, that our students have the opportunity to learn “real world” work ethic and explore their career choices. It allows them the opportunity to give back to the community that supports them with their educational goals. The partnering with business/industry allows the college an opportunity to provide students with employment in the future.
